MITRIGENE provides genotyping support for clinical trials to improve disease characterization, enhance clinical trial design, and match the most appropriate treatment with each patient. We offer testing for genes associated with inflammatory disease, renal injury, cancer, and fibrosis, plus custom assay development.
MITRIGENE grew from the founders' experience in pharmacogenetic and esoteric genotyping while in major pharmaceutical companies. A close association between physicians and the molecular biologists in the laboratory has proven to be a powerful approach for optimizing the quantity and quality of information obtained in clinical trials. This permits novel approaches to determine if genetic factors play a significant role in response to new medicines and incidence of adverse events.
MITRIGENE also works to establish a collaborative environment between primary investigators, pharmaceutical companies, contract research organizations and our laboratory personnel. We can assist in the integration of genetic testing into clinical trials and identify opportunities.
